I've been working on different parts of my graphic novel. I have a four-page installment coming out in a local anthology, so I'll have to wait a while to post that. But in the meantime, here is a quiet scene from it. Pencils and some CAD for the kitchen.

I'm having fun with these expressions, but now, I'm getting hungry for some full-page storytelling! Hope to start after lunch! |

Here are some of the head sketches I did from my goofy photos. This is how I spent the evening and I'm pretty happy with them for the most part. I had trouble with the girls (I really need some girl-models, but I'll make-do for now). |

| Model Sheets - Infinity Five - secondary characters |

 I've been spending some time lately fleshing out other characters in my story so they don't seem to just appear out of thin air. Although, as with a lot of comics characters, some of them can.
I've never done model sheets before and this was a good exercise, but I have a ways to go. Click here for my first attempts. Hopefully, they will get better as I go. |

This is the cover for my new mini-comic featuring the story that starts with Page 1 here.
I'll be debuting it at the Mo-Kan Comics Conspiracy Convention this weekend in Kansas City (October 28-29, 2006)! I'm pretty excited about it.
Greg Gildersleeve and I will also have a discussion at the convention on Sunday about creating comics. |
